With reference to your letter of the 26th September, 1922, I am directed to inform you that pending a decision as to the ultimate disposal of the British Post Office Buildings in Shanghai this Government is agreeable to your proposal that the rent of the premises occupied by Messrs. Thite-Cooper and Master be raised to Taela 200 per mensem and that suitable tenants be obtained for the ground floor when it is no longer required for the Post Office.
